HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - A Hagerstown man who had been accused of robbing two victims at gunpoint on the same night, stealing a sneakers and bowling shoes among other items, was sentenced to five years in prison.

The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown (http://bit.ly/1AK2DM6 ) reports 22-year-old Kenyatta Weedon pleaded guilty to robbery charges Tuesday in Washington County Circuit Court. Weedon will be on probation for three years following his release.

Officials say in November 2014, a juvenile reported to Hagerstown police he had been robbed at gunpoint, demanding his Nike sneakers and coat. Around the same time, a man reported he had his wallet and book bag stolen. The man’s book bag contained bowling shoes.

Assistant State’s Attorney Sarah Mollett-Gaumer says the gun was never recovered and it may have been a pellet or toy gun.
