SLIDELL, La. (AP) - A Slidell man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison in a child pornography case.

The New Orleans Advocate (http://bit.ly/1Jk1y0c ) reports 34-year-old David Michael Hall pleaded guilty to 24 charges against him Monday. Lisa Page, public information officer for District Attorney Warren Montgomery, says Hall decided to plead guilty to four counts of possession of child pornography and 20 counts of production of child pornography as Assistant District Attorney Julie Knight and his lawyer were preparing to select a jury.

Hall was arrested in November 2012 when cybercrime investigators tracked child pornography to his house, seizing two computers and a phone after executing a search warrant.

Officers arrested him in February 2014 after determining Hall was producing child pornography.
