FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - The Larimer County Coroner’s Office says a 64-year-old man who died while bicycling near Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins had a heart attack.

James Leon Gregg, of Fort Collins, died as he was riding his bike along County Road 23 on Tuesday morning. The Coloradoan reports (http://goo.gl/voKCwA ) there were marks on the road where the man veered into a shallow ditch and rolled the bike onto its side.

The autopsy did not find any signs of external trauma.

The stretch of road where Gregg died, known as Stadium Hill Climb or Centennial Climb, is popular among cyclists.
