ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Police say a 17-year-old suspect is facing first-degree murder charges in the slaying of an Orlando food bank employee.

The Orlando Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1M6wE9o) reports the teenage suspect was arrested Tuesday. Authorities say 46-year-old Richard Kenneth Kepple was found dead inside his apartment by two co-workers who went to check on him after he didn’t show up to work at the Community Food & Outreach Center May 20.

Police have not said how Kepple was killed.

The teenage suspect was taken to the Orange Regional Juvenile Detention Center. He will be moved to the Orange County Jail if he is charged as an adult. It’s not clear whether Kepple knew the suspect.

The teen also faces charges of burglary with a weapon, grand theft of a motor vehicle and theft.
