JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Water levels in Missouri rivers and creeks are running high after another round of rain.

The National Weather Service is reporting minor to moderate flooding along several rivers, including the Missouri, the Grand and the Blackwater.

Forecasts call for the Missouri River to crest Sunday in Waverly at nine feet above flood stage. The crest is expected to be just below the point at which levees could be overtopped.

As the river moves eastward, it is expected to crest Monday in Jefferson City at nearly two feet above flood stage, inundating the Katy Trail near Rocheport. At Hermann, the river is cresting Tuesday at nearly five feet above flood stage, causing some flooding of crops, an athletic field and closing a section of State Route B.
