FARGO, N.D. (AP) - More fake money is showing up in Fargo.

Police Lt. Joel Vettel tells KFGO radio (http://bit.ly/1BO2O43 ) that counterfeit $50 and $100 bills were passed over the weekend. He says the fake currency appears to have been made with a laser printer and is easy to spot. The bogus bills are the work of the same person or group.

Counterfeit bills in various denominations turned up at stores and banks throughout the Fargo area in March and April. Last month, a Fargo man was arrested for passing counterfeit bills at several restaurants in neighboring Moorhead, Minnesota. The man told police he bought the fake currency online.
