CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gov. Maggie Hassan will have many decisions to make in the coming weeks as the Legislature sends dozens of bills to her desk.

Heading to Hassan’s desk now are bills to eliminate the license requirement for carrying a concealed firearm, put into place key pieces of a settlement with energy company Eversource and expand the use of medical marijuana to people suffering from epilepsy, lupus, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.

Hassan says she will veto the gun legislation. Already this session she has vetoed bills to limit schools’ adoption of the Common Core education standards and create a committee to study end-of-life decisions. She signed legislation to pave the way for a redevelopment of the Balsams Resort and banning the use of tanning beds by people under 18.
