RAYMOND, N.H. (AP) - A Massachusetts man in need of a kidney is receiving hundreds of offers, thanks to an old high school friend he hasn’t seen for over 40 years.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1MB9pFn) Donald Hall of Merrimac was diagnosed with gangrene in 2010 that poisoned his organs and led to a heart attack.

In January, he asked for a kidney donor through a Facebook post.

Regina Nadaeu of Raymond, New Hampshire, an Amesbury High School classmate and friend from 43 years ago, decided to help.

Nadaeu created an ad for Hall on the back window of her pickup truck asking for matching donors to call her. After one of her friends shared the picture on Facebook, the post received about 9,000 likes.

She says over 400 people have called her offering to donate.
