STURBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Officials are investigating a fire that destroyed an unoccupied cabin and damaged another one at a campground in Sturbridge.

A firefighter suffered minor injuries at the Outdoor World Campground shortly before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The firefighter was treated at a local hospital.

Officials say one cabin was fully engulfed in flames and an adjacent structure sustained damage to the exterior siding and windows.

Firefighters were hampered by unplowed roads inside the campground. They had to hike 250 feet through more than four feet of packed snow to reach the structures.

It wasn’t immediately known what caused the fires.
