WASHINGTON (AP) - The Washington Redskins have re-signed safety Duke Ihenacho.

Ihenacho, who was claimed off waivers from the Denver Broncos on Aug. 31, played three games for the Redskins last season before breaking a bone in his left foot in Week 3.

The 25-year-old was signed by the Broncos as a free agent out of San Jose State in May 2012.

In 2013, he played in 15 games for Denver, starting 14, and finished with 89 tackles and nine passes defended.
