NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD has arrested a man who allegedly raped a spa worker after showing up for a scheduled appointment.

Police say the suspect walked into the spa on Northern Boulevard in Queens at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

He then allegedly displayed a gun and raped the 42-year-old female victim in a rear room.

Police identified him as 37-year-old Luis Jessup of Queens. They charged him with rape, criminal sex act, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
