PITTSBURGH (AP) - A six-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 376 in Pittsburgh has been cleared, ending a miles-long traffic jam that lasted about 90 minutes.

State police say two people have been taken to a hospital with minor injuries after the crash just east of downtown on a highway known locally as the Parkway East.

The crash happened sometime after 7:30 a.m. Friday near the Oakland exit, a couple miles east of downtown. Traffic was backed up across town and out through the Fort Pitt Tunnels, which carry the interstate into the city from the southwest.

Police say the crash wasn’t serious, but the number of vehicles involved slowed the process of cleaning up debris and reopening the highway.
