LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say one man has been arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing on a Los Angeles bus.

The Los Angeles Times reports (http://lat.ms/1M978C0 ) that the 43-year-old man is being held on $1 million bail for suspicion of murder. Police are still searching for his two accomplices.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s Transit Service Bureau spokesman Ramon Montenegro says deputies saw a man they recognized from a photograph taken by the bus surveillance camera. He says the man in custody is thought to be the main person behind the attack and the one who delivered the fatal stab.

Authorities say three men on the bus Monday argued with a passenger in the back. One man pulled out a knife and stabbed the passenger before all three fled.

The victim, in his 30s, died at the scene.
