No. 5 Oklahoma State (9-0, 6-0 Big 12) at Iowa State (3-6, 2-4), 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Line: Oklahoma State by 14.

Series Record: Oklahoma State leads 28-18-3

WHAT’S AT STAKE

Oklahoma State controls its own destiny in the Big 12 race, and this is its last road game before Baylor and Oklahoma visit Stillwater. Iowa State can prove that its brutal schedule is the biggest reason why it’s 3-6 with an upset over the Cowboys.

KEY MATCHUP

Oklahoma State’s run game vs. Iowa State’s defensive line. The Cowboys are just 99th nationally in rushing yards per game, and the Cyclones have some talent in their front seven. If Iowa State can force Oklahoma State into a number of obvious passing downs, it might be able to also force some turnovers.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Minnesota: QB Mason Rudolph. He set a career high with five TD passes in last week’s 49-29 win over TCU.

Iowa: RB Mike Warren. He’s three yards shy of becoming just the seventh Big 12 freshman with 1,000 yards rushing.

FACTS & FIGURES

Iowa State spoiled Oklahoma State’s BCS hopes with a 37-31 upset in Ames four years ago…Oklahoma State is fourth-best nationally in turnover margin, while Iowa State is tied for 105th … The Cyclones combined losses have come against teams that enter the weekend a combined 45-8 - and 40-3 if Texas Tech isn’t included…Cowboys WR James Washington is the only player in the country with three catches of more than 70 yards.
