CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Another round of heavy rain has Clemson officials looking at football parking alternatives.

Clemson uses several grassy areas to park many of the 25,000 vehicles expected when the third-ranked Tigers face Florida State on Saturday. However, steady rain the past three days has saturated those lots and left the athletic department scrambling for adequate parking.

Department and booster group leaders met Tuesday. Athletic director Dan Radakovich said the school won’t know until later in the week how many spots would be available.

Those with grass-lot parking passes are encouraged to car pool. The school used an off-campus shuttle on Oct. 3 for the Notre Dame game, a contest besot with heavy, steady rain.

School leaders said they will announce plans later in the week.

Storms are forecast for Saturday’s game.
