BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Annual vehicle passes for state parks in North Dakota are now available for the 2016 season.

The state Parks and Recreation Department began selling the pass this week. It provides entrance into any state park and is good until April 30, 2017.

The pass costs $25. There are $5 discounts for senior citizens and disabled veterans.

Parks and Rec sold nearly 16,700 vehicle passes for the 2015 season, up from about 15,300 the previous year.
