RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police have issued a trespass warning against a man who caused a hazardous materials lockdown of the Washoe County Commission chambers after spilling a green substance that appeared to be a pesticide.

The Reno-Gazette Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/1JEWnTa ) that the trespass warning against 28-year-old Ross Tisevich, of Fallon, means he will be cited or arrested if he comes to Reno City Hall.

Tisevich is in Washoe County Jail where he faces misdemeanor charges of disturbing a meeting. A felony charge of dispersing a hoax substance has been dropped.

The man was jailed Monday when he spilled an unknown substance from a weed killer bottle on the public speaking lectern. He has been attending meetings since May to protest the city’s use of pesticides.
