GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A western Michigan man has been sentenced for producing child pornography after his brother was sentenced on similar charges earlier this year.

The office of U.S. Attorney Patrick A. Miles Jr. said Thursday that 32-year-old Timothy Masters of Belding was sentenced to 27 years in prison. The office says Masters and his brother, 28-year-old Eric, collected child pornography and produced their own that they shared with each other.

Authorities say Timothy Masters took pornographic photos of one girl as she slept, and told his brother that he groped several girls.

The U.S. attorney’s office says Eric Masters was sentenced in March to 50 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to producing child pornography of three other young girls, including what authorities say was the sexual abuse of a toddler, leading to criminal sexual conduct charges in Kent County.
