LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say two people shot at a Los Angeles-area gas station drove to a nearby police station, where one died. A third person was hit by a stray bullet.

It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday in unincorporated Willowbrook.

Sheriff’s investigators say a man and woman were sitting in a car in the station parking lot when another car pulled alongside and shots rang out.

The 22-year-old woman managed to drive to a Los Angeles police station, where her 25-year-old companion was pronounced dead.

The woman is hospitalized in stable condition.

A 53-year-old man was found at the gas station. He was shot in the upper body and is hospitalized in stable condition. Authorities say he was hit by a stray bullet.

No arrests have been made.
