RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Gov. Terry McAuliffe is set to help open a new campaign office for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

McAuliffe is set to open a Richmond office for Clinton Friday evening.

The governor is a longtime friend and political booster of Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Many leaders of the Democratic Party of Virginia have already endorsed Clinton, who recently lost the New Hampshire primary to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Sanders opened his fourth Virginia office on Wednesday in Charlottesville.

Virginians will vote in the Democratic primary on March 1.
