TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have hired John Spytek as the team’s director of player personnel.

Spytek will be Bucs general manager Jason Licht’s right-hand man after spending the past three seasons with the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

Licht made the announcement Tuesday.

Spytek was a national scout the past wo years in Denver. He was the Cleveland Browns’ director of college scouting for three seasons from 2010-12.

Spytek replaces Jon Robinson, who left Tampa Bay to become general manager of the Tennessee Titans.
