RYE, N.H. (AP) - The public is being asked to weigh in on plans to construct a new bathhouse at Jenness State Beach in Rye.

The Division of Parks and Recreation is holding a meeting Wednesday night at the Rye Public Library, where officials will display the preliminary plans for the bathhouse and other improvements at the park.

The project is funded through a capital appropriation from the state budget. Construction is expected to begin next September and be finished in the spring of 2017.
