CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Police say a high school student shot a fellow student in the buttocks as students were getting off a crowded school bus in eastern Pennsylvania.

Police say a 16-year-old Chester High School student shot a fellow 16-year-old Wednesday morning in Chester, about 10 miles southwest of Philadelphia.

The victim has been taken to an area hospital for treatment. The student’s condition is unknown.

Authorities say an arrest and search warrant were filed but the boy hasn’t been found.

The suspect is charged with aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a weapon on school property.
