SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Troyce Manassa scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Savannah State beat Morgan State 57-49 on Saturday night, snapping a four-game slide.

Manassa was 7 of 12 from the field for the Tigers (8-13, 4-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Brian Pearson added seven points and five rebounds and Chris Martin and Khalen Pinkett chipped in six points apiece.

Morgan State took a 22-16 lead with 4:05 left in the first half but Savannah State finished the period on a 8-2 run and the teams were tied 24-24 at the break. Manassa scored six points as part of a 9-2 run to open the second half and the Tigers led 33-26 with 16:06 to go. Savannah State led the rest of the way.

Cedric Blossom scored 13 points for the Bears (5-16, 3-5). Andre Horne Jr. added 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.
