GRAHAM, N.C. (AP) - An Alamance County man is in jail charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a neighbor.

Police in the community of Graham tell local media outlets that officers responded to a call about a disturbance in a local apartment complex about 9 on Friday evening.

Authorities say they found 37-year-old Derick Ulysses Alston dead of a stab wound to the chest.

Police have charged 45-year-old Willie Clinton Mack in the death. He is in jail and set to make an initial court appearance on Monday. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
