LINDEN, N.J. (AP) - Authorities have identified the pilot of a helicopter who was injured when it tipped over while he was making practice landings at a northern New Jersey airport.

Donald Banks was treated at a hospital for a right leg injury in Saturday afternoon’s crash at the Linden Airport. Officials say the 61-year-old Staten Island, New York man owns the Bell B206 helicopter, which sustained some damage in the accident.

A passenger on the helicopter, 69-year-old Charles Consenza of Staten Island, was not hurt.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by city police and the Federal Aviation Administration.
