MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) - A man in eastern Mississippi was able to give deputies some information who had attacked him before he died of stab wounds.

WTOK-TV reports (http://bit.ly/29prn3o ) that 58-year-old Thomas Price was assaulted at his home Saturday, and he was found in a ravine after an acquaintance heard yelling from the woods near the house.

Coroner Clayton Cobler says Price died from four stab wounds to the chest.

The Meridian Star reports (http://bit.ly/29pqpnL ) 51-year-old Matthew Perry Hasson and 43-year-old Selena Ann Roberts were arrested late Saturday. Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun says each is charged with capital murder and two counts of burglary.

It was not immediately clear whether either Hasson or Roberts has an attorney. Bond was denied for both.
