ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - A man and two children were injured when their personal watercraft crashed into a navigational tower in the back bay area of Atlantic City.

The Coast Guard responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Sunday after a good Samaritan reported the accident. Crews found the man had suffered cuts to his legs and the two children were in shock.

All three were taken to the Coast Guard station in Atlantic City, where they were treated by emergency responders.

The names of the three injured people were not released. It wasn’t known Monday if they were related.

Further details on their conditions were not disclosed.

The accident came a day after another personal watercraft crash in Somers Point that killed a man and his 8-year old son.
