HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) - Police say six people have been arrested on heroin charges linked to the investigation of two Westchester County deaths last week.

Harrison police tell the Journal News (https://lohud.us/29otS3n ) that tainted heroin contributed to the deaths of two people last Thursday and Friday. Their names were not released.

An investigation into the tainted drug led to the arrests Friday of 17-year-old Rachael Brissett of Harrison and 22-year-old Alexandra Derose of Mamaroneck. They face charges including criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Police say four additional people were arrested Sunday as they were selling drugs out of a minivan.

They included 27-year-old Jeffrey McCaskill. Police describe him as a prominent Bronx dealer.

It wasn’t clear if the suspects had attorneys who could speak for them.

Police say more arrests are likely.
