CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - Jurors have found a Camden man guilty in two home invasions which left one woman dead and another sexually assaulted.

Prosecutors say 23-year-old Steven Alicea and another man gunned down 38-year-old Lori Breiding while trying to rob her in 2011.

Both were arrested soon after a second home invasion wearing clothes matching the description of Breiding’s attackers. A woman was sexually assaulted.

Alicea was convicted of felony murder and weapons offenses in Breiding’s death. He was convicted of aggravated sexual assault, burglary, armed robbery and weapons offenses in the second case.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced in September.

His co-defendant, 21-year-old John Gonzalez, has been sentenced to at least 32 years in prison for both crimes.
