BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Police have arrested two men in what they call a road-rage shooting in Mississippi.

Biloxi Police Department investigator Nick Sonnier (SO-nyay) says 29-year-old Brett Allen Davis and 27-year-old Andrew Koby Walters, both of Picayune, were arrested Thursday in Biloxi. That’s about 160 miles south of the shooting Wednesday on Interstate 20 in Pearl.

The men are charged with attempted murder. They were being held in a local jail until Pearl authorities could pick them up. It was not known whether they had lawyers.

Sonnier says investigators used cellphone signals to find the men in a parking lot.

Rankin County Undersheriff Raymond Duke says the driver of a car was struck by a bullet above the eye Wednesday, but gave information to authorities about the other vehicle. Duke did not identify the driver, who was in stable condition.
