WAKE FOREST, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say three people have been shot to death in what appears to be a fight among neighbors in Wake County.

It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the dispute that began Friday morning. Officers tell local media outlets they responded to the area after neighbors were heard yelling from two homes. No other details have been released.

Later Friday, at around 6 p.m., deputies say they were called back to the area and found the bodies of two women and a man. Authorities say 47-year-old Sandy Mazzella and 43-year-old Stephenie Ann Mazzella lived on the street where the shooting happened.

Another woman, 76-year-old Elaine Toby Mazzella, lived in Raleigh.

Police say 52-year-old Jon Sander has been charged with murder. It wasn’t known if he had an attorney.
