LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The name of a Sherwood firefighter who was killed while responding to a medical call has been added to the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the state Capitol.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1Rmuwj4 ) that Lt. Ronald Jason Adams’ name has been added to the memorial to Arkansas firefighters who have died in the line of duty since 1889.

The 29-year-old Adams was shot to death in January while responding to a medical call in North Little Rock. Adams was off-duty and volunteering with the East Pulaski County Fire Department when he was shot.
