Police told local media outlets that 25-year-old Carl Donatello Roye of High Point has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say two people were shot around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Capt. Tim Ellenberger said the victims, ages 25 and 22, were taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem for treatment of serious injuries. Their names have not been released.
