LOS ANGELES (AP) - Six people have been injured in a violent, five-vehicle collision in the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott says all of those injured early Tuesday have been transported to hospitals for treatment of injuries ranging from moderate to severe.

The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Vanowen Street in the Van Nuys area.
