NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are looking for a man who was locked in a New Castle gas station after he announced a robbery, and pried open a register to steal cash.

Troopers said in a news release that a man walked into Super Fuel early Tuesday, confronted an employee, and demanded money from the register. Police say the suspect did not show a weapon or say he had one.

Investigators say the employee left the store and locked the suspect inside. The suspect pried open the cash register, took out the money, broke out glass in the door and fled.
