LORIS, S.C. (AP) - A North Carolina man is fighting extradition to face charges in South Carolina related to a deadly store robbery.

The Sun-News of Myrtle Beach reports (http://bit.ly/1TobLil ) 36-year-old Demetrius Altman of Chadbourn is charged as an accessory to a felony. The charge is connected to the shooting death Monday of a convenience store owner Edy Boudagh in Loris, South Carolina.

Altman refused extradition during a court hearing Friday in Columbus County, North Carolina. His fight against facing the South Carolina charge will be argued in court next month.

Authorities say Altman planned the armed robbery with two other North Carolina men and drove the vehicle that was supposed to be their getaway car. Jim Tracy Miller of Tabor City and Jonathan Stefan Vanderhorst of Whiteville are facing murder charges.
