OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) - Police have identified the officers and man involved in a fatal shooting Saturday in Oregon City.

KGW-TV reports (http://goo.gl/N3kIiO ) Oregon City Police officers David Edwins and David Plummer were involved in the shooting. It’s unclear if both officers fired on the man they say was violently resisting arrest.

The man has been identified by police as 38-year-old Travis Anthony Moore.

The officers were serving an arrest warrant to Moore for failing to appear in court on a harassment charge. The officers say they immediately called for backup after the shooting and began giving first aid. Paramedics provided additional treatment but police say Moore died at the scene.

Plummer was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

A Clackamas County major crimes team is investigating.

Both officers are on paid administrative leave.
