LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued flash flooding and tornado warnings in southeastern Nebraska.

The tornado warning was issued for Lancaster, Saline and Seward counties until shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday. The warning area includes the towns of Firth, Cortland and Hallam. A tornado watch was been issued for most of southern Nebraska until 10 p.m.

The weather service says much of eastern Nebraska could see large hail, strong winds and heavy rain through Thursday night into early Friday morning.

The flood warning has been issued for parts of Gage, Lancaster and Saline counties. The weather service reports several flooded roads in Lincoln, especially southeast area.
