GREENVILLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have identified the driver who was killed in a head-on crash in Greenville.

Troopers said in a news release that 58-year-old John L. Santangelo of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, died at a hospital Wednesday when the SUV he was driving collided with another SUV on Montchanin Road.

Police say the other driver, 26-year-old Brandon Harper of Hockessin, was admitted to a hospital for his injuries.

Authorities say Harper lost control of his Jeep while driving over railroad tracks. His car collided with Santangelo’s SUV, which spun off the road and landed on top of a stone wall.

The crash is under investigation.
