MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve arrested a 34-year-old Minot man on eluding charges after he tried to flee from officers two straight days.

The Ward County Sheriff’s Office says Burlington police stopped a motorcycle on Highway 2 and 52 about 4 p.m. Wednesday when the rider sped off. Deputies say that after a chase and a scuffle, officers arrested Trenton Jacob Kary on charges of fleeing, driving under suspension, reckless driving and assault on a police officer.

At about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, a Ward County deputy spotted a vehicle leaving the Ward County Jail with its headlights off. Another chase ensued ending at Kary’s residence, leading to a second arrest. Kary is being held at the Ward County Jail.

Attorney information for Kary was not listed in court records.
