MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Prosecutors say a Shelby County man charged in a series of rapes has been convicted for a second time.

The Shelby County district attorney’s office says 37-year-old Michael Richardson was convicted this week of aggravated rape in a July 2012 attack.

Richardson, of Rossville, was identified through his DNA from the victim’s rape evidence kit. He faces 15 to 25 years in prison with no parole when he’s sentenced in June.

Richardson is already serving a 22-year sentence with no parole for a rape conviction two years ago.

He also has several rape trials pending. Prosecutors say his DNA has linked him to rapes that occurred in July, August and October of 2012.
