CLARENDON, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a Clarendon man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer rig.

Police say 20-year-old Tarvers Tirell Amos died in the crash Thursday. No other injuries are reported.

A police report says Amos was southbound on U.S. Highway 79 when the car he was driving crossed the centerline and was struck by the northbound semi.

The report says the road was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
