CLEVELAND, Miss. (AP) - Delta State will honor a man who helped bring the Mississippi branch of the Grammy Museum to its campus at commencement on Saturday.

Bob Santelli, executive director of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, will address graduates Saturday at Walter Sillers Coliseum, receiving an honorary degree from the university.

Santelli was named executive director of the Grammy Museum in 2006. A noted blues and rock historian, he is credited for developing the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Festival, and has written three books on the blues. The $20 million museum opened in March.

Delta State expects to award 442 bachelors, masters, education specialists and doctoral degrees.
