PHOENIX (AP) - A 51-year-old former substitute teacher has been sentenced to 10 years in prison in a case that started when a flash drive with child pornography was found in a Phoenix classroom.

Greg Paul Parr was sentenced Friday by Judge Peter Reinstein of Maricopa County Superior Court.

Parr previously pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

Phoenix police said a flash drive found in a classroom at Cortez High was found to contain child pornography.

School administrators accessed the device in an attempt to determine its owner and said there appeared to be images of young children engaged in sexual acts.

School officials contacted police and turned over the USB drive.
