PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say they are looking for two men who escaped from the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.

Police say they are looking for 25-year-old Justin Arnett and 31-year-old Melvin Garland, both of Salyersville. According to a press release, the inmates appear to have gotten out of the facility in eastern Kentucky early Monday by going through its ductwork.

Arnett is described as a 5-foot-7 white male who is 145 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Garland is described as a 6-foot-tall white male who weighs 175 pounds and has blonde hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call state police at 606-433-7711.
