Iowa (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) at No. 20 Penn State (6-2, 4-2, No. 12 CFP), 7:30 p.m. (Big Ten Network)

Line: Penn State by 7½.

Series record: Penn State leads 13-12.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

Both teams will try to keep chances at conference championship berths alive with a win. Penn State can keep pace behind No. 2 Michigan and No. 2 Ohio State in the East while the Hawkeyes are among four two-loss teams trailing No. 9 Nebraska in the West. Both teams become bowl-eligible with a win.

KEY MATCHUP

Iowa’s defensive line vs. Penn State QB Trace McSorley and RB Saquon Barkley. The Nittany Lions have developed a 1-2 rushing punch with their quarterback and star running back who’ve combined for 790 rushing yards and seven touchdowns over the last four games. Hawkeye defensive ends can’t allow Barkley to turn the corner and must not over pursue McSorley, who’ll take off up the middle if tackles don’t stay home.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Iowa: RB Akrum Wadley. The Hawkeyes are looking to get more out of their passing game and could use Wadley in the slot. Wadley caught seven passes for 72 yards against Wisconsin.

Penn State: WR Chris Godwin. Penn State’s top wideout is coming off his best game, when he scored twice. He’ll likely see a lot of All-America cornerback Desmond King this week.
