SHELDON, Vt. (AP) - Police say a human skull found at a Vermont home could be from a 50-plus-year-old homicide that went unreported.

Police say they received information about the possibility of the remains at a home in Sheldon. They got a search warrant.

The skull will be brought to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for analysis.

Anyone with information related to this investigation is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Angela Baker at 1-802-524-5993.
