DANVILLE, Va. (AP) - Authorities say three people were injured after the ladder they were moving struck a high-voltage power line.

Danville Battalion Chief Brian Alderson tells WDBJ-TV (http://bit.ly/2ehBTIB ) that the people were injured from an electric shock while they were moving a ladder against a house. He says the ladder slipped and struck a power line that runs parallel to the house.

Emergency responders found two people without a pulse on the ground. One person regained a pulse after receiving CPR. The other person regained a pulse after being attacked to a defibrillator. The third person was awake, but disoriented.

All three people were taken to the hospital.
