GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Authorities have arrested three Louisiana men accused of stealing prescription drugs from pharmacies in Mississippi.

The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/2ekO777 ) reports that officials arrested 26-year-old Shundrake McKeel, 37-year-old Justin McKeel and a third suspect on Tuesday.

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration says the three had stolen drugs from four pharmacies over an eight-week period. They were caught after police identified McKeel as one of the suspects and learned he drove a black Dodge Durango. Biloxi police stopped a vehicle matching that description after a pharmacy break-in in Ocean Springs on Tuesday and arrested the three men.

They are held pending court action. It’s unclear if they have attorneys.
